How we work
Bison Field Works offer minimum term 5 year straw contracts, paid by the ton and Index linked so you can be confident you are fetching the best price. Bison carry out all field works, either baling behind the combine or cutting standing straw with our windrowers to an agreed height as per the contract. We guarantee to leave your assets clean, tidy and free of broken bales with minimal damage to the ground.

Baling & Logistics Services
Windrowing and Baling
We bale in the swath behind the combines or as standing straw with our Windrowers. We cut to an agreed height as recorded in the contract.
Straw removal
Bales are removed from the fields in a timely manner, leaving no unwanted residue or broken bales.
Logistics and warehousing
We have storage facilities on main routes, satellite sites for local storage and also pay for on farm storage.
Long term Index linked contracts
All contracts are a minimum of 5 years, Index linked CPI and paid for per ton 28 days from month end of being baled.
